E3 Starts Tomorrow...if you care |
Sunday, 13 June 2010 18:50 |

Regardless of how little people actually care about it, E3 is still a big place for news and cool stuff when it comes along. This year's version of the expo technically began today, Sunday June 13, with Microsoft bringing the world premiere of Project Natal on Spike TV. News conferences start Monday with Microsoft's actual press conference starting at 10am, the EA press conference at 2pm and Ubisoft's at 5pm. On Tuesday, Nintendo will have it's press conference at 9am and Sony will have theirs at 12pm. Wednesday will have only one press conference as Konami will most likely blow our minds at 1pm. Keep in mind that this is all in LA time. As far as I can tell, G4 will only be streaming the press events online, so if you want to stream them just go to gametrailers.com. They do a much better job. |

Infinity Ward Axes Two More Big Names Behind Call of Duty |
Monday, 05 April 2010 23:50 |
Well, for those of you who have been wishing that CoD would just give way to DICE and Battlefield Bad Company 2, it seems your wishes are becoming more true everyday as two more big time people have said goodbye to the top selling franchise. Announced via the two's Linkedin profiles, this time it's Todd Alderman and Francesco Gigliotti. Alderman was at Infinity Ward for 8 years and worked on the original CoD, CoD 2, CoD 4 and Modern Warfare 2. While his profile did not indicate what games he worked on, Gigliotti had been at Infinity War for 7 years. There is no official reason for why they left, but the rumor is that they simply resigned. On a side note, another fine example as to how news doesn't come from PR people anymore. |

Have to tell you about this deal. If you don't have Torchlight first and foremost: we are very disappointed in you... you have missed out on one of the greatest point-and-click games of last year. This weekend it is only $5 on steam so get on it and start doing some dungeon crawling. We guarentee you that it will keep you occupied until Diablo 3 finally comes out! |

Thursday, 25 March 2010 17:08 |
Well I have been kind of a bum lately and haven't posted any news so I thought at the very least I could point out that there are a few more new podcasts available for your listening pleasure. On Bombed-Out Radio we talk about... well... stuff. VGS is a little more structured as we talk about the rumors of the Nintendo 3DS, a new slim 360 and more. Check it out on iTunes, or Zune, or wherever you happen to get your fix from. |
